# Screening & Refund Policy

**Effective Date:** September 8, 2026

To maintain safety, scheduling integrity, and exclusive discretion, all reservation requests are subject to the following administrative screening and deposit terms:

### 1. Administrative Screening Fee ($50 CAD)
* A initial **$50 administrative screening fee** is required with all preliminary reservation requests.
* **Screening Credit:** Upon successful verification and session confirmation, the full $50 screening fee is applied directly as a credit toward your total session balance.
* **Non-Refundable Status:** In the event that an applicant fails verification, submits fraudulent identification, or fails to complete the verification process, the $50 fee is retained to cover administrative and identity-vetting overhead.

### 2. Reservation Deposit (50%)
* A **50% deposit** (minus the $50 screening credit) is required to lock in a specific date, time, and session window.
* **Final Balance:** The remaining balance is due at the start of the scheduled session.

### 3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
* **Client Cancellation:** Deposits are non-refundable for client cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment window.
* **Rescheduling:** Clients may request to reschedule an appointment up to 24 hours prior to the start time without losing their deposit (subject to calendar availability).
* **Provider Cancellation:** In the rare event that an appointment is canceled by the provider due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, any deposit paid for that session will be refunded in full or applied toward a rescheduled date at the client’s preference.

### 4. Chargebacks & Payment Integrity
By submitting payment via Stripe, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes initiated after completing screening or receiving services will be disputed with detailed transaction verification logs.
